I remembered a phrase the only thing that is constant in the world is change. For those who can't see change as inevitable or choose to ignore, something is wrong somewhere.....

Your polls is too lopsided :) maybe Iran or Libya will be a better poll not USA or Libya.

Mo' didn't choose Iran to compare his Islamic paradise with, he chose the U.S.

Apparently even Mo' doesn't think much of Iran!

That guy's is real unfair, he should pick on someone his own size, using his paradise to compare against the Great Satan, really an insult to himself :(
    tsk....tsk....tsk....

I'd rather live in the US, basically because it's closer to home and essentially the same living style as where I live (Canada).

Looks like I am the only one voting for Libya.

The reason why I would rather live in Libya than United States is american terroristic government terrorizing the whole world and poisoning us with their bullshit. Killing, bombing and torturing people around the world while giving us lectures about geneva conventions. What a hypocrisy. You you don't even like your own people. Anti-terroristic law, no civil rights, publicly supporting torturing, very bad school system, even crappier health care system, highest crime rate in the world, sick society, brainwashing young population... Who the hell would ever want to live in United States apart from Mexicans, Indians and Chinese?

I know most of Digital Point members are Americans but I must say the World would be a much better place if there would be no Americans and sorry to shatter your dreams fellows but nobody really likes you. You should really think about it because if someone doesn't like you it might be something wrong with him but if nobody likes you then it's most probably you.

    Greed will imprison you all.

Congratulations on being the odd one out. Just curious, your comments especially on the health care, school system etc indicated at least to me that you have lived for quite a number of years in USA. Would you like to share your living experiences in USA and your first hand view on what you had mentioned?

I did not live in United States at any time but it's not a secret that your health care system is one of the worst in the World.

I have four co-workers from United States and one from Canada. Two of them are software programmers and three of them are specialized in databases. I ask them everything I want to know about United States.

Interesting list that was given, wonder what is the list about? Also Libya isn't on the list, do you mean that the list of whatever information it is suppose to represent was in reverse order? The top being the worse and the bottom being the best? That may explain why Libya wasn't on top of the USA in the list.

The list is about number or skilled CSharp programmers ranked by country. Come on man... you're not stupid so don't pretend to be one.

EDIT: Do you honestly believe the countries of Benelux have the worst health care system in the world? You've got to be kidding...

You may want to enlighten me on the source of your list, what was given is just a list of countries, it did not say about what the list was. Secondly the reference you cite is a complete web site of who.int. Maybe you can give us the exact link?

I am not pretending to be stupid, just need more information on what you had thrown at us. Appreciate your input on this.

    Let me quote Cato Institute:

This is the latest WHO report:

Thanks for the link, but apologies, I scanned through the 88 pages of report and I still can't find that list. Below are some details gleamed from the report. Ranking 37 out of 191, I won't say it is superb but it isn't that bad right? Can you tell me what is the position of Libya BTW? Maybe you can attach the complete list? Once again deeply appreciated.

    Life span of USA (2005)
    Male 75 years old
    Female 80 years old

    Life span of Libya (2005)
    Male 70 years old
    Female 75 years old

Health System (Density of doctor per 1000 population)
    Libya 1.29
    USA 2.56

Expenditure on Health as a % of GDP
    Libya 3.8
    USA 15.4

    Add on from UFCW

In comparison to other industrialized nations, USA does need to improve on its health care. But in comparison as a whole, it still have not done that badly.

You have other lists of grievances.

Anti-terroristic law (Why not? Can you name me any country that do not have laws punishing terrorists?)

No civil rights (Based on what source and compared to who)

Publicly supporting torturing (Yeap Bush is supporting torture openly, but tons of other countries are doing that secretly to innocent civilians, whereas Bush was advocating its uses on top terrorist suspects, though on this front I don't really agree with Bush)

Very bad school system (Is it? Based on? Have you seen the latest ranking of the universities for eg)

Even crappier health care system (37 out of 191, I would consider that mediocre among industrialized nations)

Highest crime rate in the world (Based on?)

Sick society (Whats your definition of "sick" society as in health pointed out as the 37th among 191 countries?)

Brainwashing young population (American youth have the some of the widest access to news and information, certainly won't be easy to influence these people when this is an open society where information loves freely, no one is stopping any Youth from view Al Jazeera for eg instead of CNN)

I'm not from Libya, I don't know why you keep poking me with Libya. I'm from Slovenia, EU. I chose Libya because it was an option in the poll, I would choose any country over United States because I don't like your politics towards the rest of the world. You are hypocrites, aggressors and occupators. You ruined lives of so many people, when are you going to stop terrorizing the World?

I am not from USA, I am either living in Singapore which is number 6 on your list and Australia which is number 32 on your list.

I am certainly not poking anyone, you had your polls and posted your views, I did the polls and refuted your post. As I always said, this is a forum, we are into matters not members. I beg to differ from what you had stated and had posted my reasons, you are surely more than welcome to correct me on any wrong information on my post or challenge me on my views.
