Nope the sources are all speculative in nature. There is no concrete information that Google is buying Digg, or Microsoft for that matter.
Yes I do understand its not concrete but when this sort of info leaks tere has to be some truth in it - I def think microsoft should up there interest and obtain such a powerful site because if they purchase both digg and yahoo they will be hot on googles tail
Not actually, there are a lot of rumors flying every day. Your title "Google Are buying DIGG!!" seemed to have it that it was a confirmed deal.
Soz was meant to say google to buy digg - but I do feel although digg are in denial there is something going on. Very interesting to see the outcome of this aquisition
this is not posted on any big News website! like bbc and other! i can believe when it will post on sites like those and this is posted in a blog which donot make any sense
Digg will not deny it outright if there are talks in progression, they would have just said that their policy is not to comment on any rumors are the likes of that.
Yes that is our blog but we are linking to a news source - we didnt just invent this info lol otherwise we'd be a pretty terrible blog and not loyal to our readers
What they had was Google, Microsoft Said To Be Preparing Bids For Digg This is just another rumor. Add on. So you are just promoting your own blog here? Certainly you did not do a good job in mistaking a rumor for a confirmed sale.
It will be very very interesting to see the outcome, because if google to infact purchase digg then i feel not even microsoft can compete for the next 10 years atleast. Very clever company
I beg to differ on that, $200 million for Digg would be on the high side and also even with Digg it is just a drop in the bucket for Google, it would affect the equilibrium not to say add another 10 years of competitiveness to Google. Add on : If you can try to cite from the source, or you run the suspicion of trying to spam your blog. http://finance.yahoo.com/tech-ticker/article/5517/Digging-into-Digg Excerpts from the above
really I actually think that the rate digg is growing it is worth more than $200million - Because google will then have Digg, Youtube, and Orkut all major major sites that are growing at tremendous rates
To be honest, i am curious regarding digg's operation. The domain registered on 1998 and they have major increase in activity on 2004. My main question is what happened on 2002 - 2003?
