[Need Help,bluehost] privileges of FTP account

    Hi I want to creat a new ftp account and let my staff to upload files only, but dont have other privileges like edit or delete files etc.

    Where to configure and how, I have tried many times but still cant find it out, so please help me if you know, thanks.

    its only possible if you're letting your staff to upload to
    brand new root or clean subfolder/directory.

    you can specify the folder/dir name when setting up new ftp.
    however you can limit permissions

    So you mean it's impossible to limit the privilege for the exsiting directory files?

    yes.from what i know, in Cpanel (bluehost uses it) there is no option to limit and restrict usage as in allow only uploading, downloading.

    what you can do is, make a FTP account based on a Sub Dir(so that wont be able to see either things so they cant edit or remove) and then everyday, you can move the files to someplace you want or let it remain there.

    I cant think of any otehr solution with Cpanel.
