Which countries you target in Google adwords?

Hi guys,

I am just starting out with CB and got lots of useful info from knowledgeable and helpful members here on DP. Thanks for that

I am using only Google adwords at the moment. I wonder, what countries do you target when using google adwords? Maybe you could post a top 5 list

The thing is, most of the clickbank sellers' websites (I guess all of them actually) are in english. Are people getting sales from countries where English is not the first language?

 

I think everyone knows the top 5
- Usa
- Canada
- Great Britain
- Australia
- New zealand

There are some english Speaking European countries that

are also worth looking at

 

I recommend starting with the smallest market first. Once you perfect the keywords etc then rollout. If the product is geared towards a specific country that is another discussion. I recommend using google trends and enter your keyword and notice which countries are showing the most search volume. see attached example

Well here we have something intresting. The Google trends puts The Philippines at the top of this list. But this is not a country where english is the first language, would you still try to market it here or would you skip to the first english speaking country?

In case of The Philippines an english website might work. But countries like Germany, The Netherlands, France have many products, websites in their own language already. Would you still try to market your product there (perhaps translation your landing page in the local language)?

I guess this is something most European affiliates coming from countries like The Netherlands, Germany, France, Italy and working with CB, CJ have thought about. Maybe they could jump in and throw some advice.

I would target the language or languages that your landing pages, ad copy are all written in.
