For cash blogging, you need to target a few keywords so that it can get some traffic from the search engines.

If your blog is having a low PR or has been banned by the search engines out there, you can get the traffic by writing articles to article databases like Ezinearticles and GoArticles. Alternatively, you can also create some Squidoo lens and Hubpages related to the niche you are blogging as they rank well in search engines.
