    Hi

Anyone else experience a dramatic decrease in ringtone sales this week? maybe its the google indexing that caused my site to derank for some keywords or...god knows.

Plus my acc manager has not replied to a single email in 2 weeks.

Ringtones have been on a steady decline for 18-24 months, and seems like they took a sharp turn downward Feb 08.

Ringtones have been growing steadily for me in the past couple weeks... and my eCPC and CR has been remaining steady.

To the 2 of you who posted above me... have your eCPC and CR dropped as well with your revenue?

Wow... that's crazy. My eCPC has been hovering between $1.40 on bad days to $2.01 on great days.

What ringtone offers are you running? I'm doing Flycell

I see... well the plus side in your matter is you don't have any expenses to worry about :D

You should test some other ringtone offers besides just DadaMobile...

Really depends on what keyword I'm bidding on... of course I don't mind bidding up to $1.25-$1.50 for high converting keywords.

But in general I follow this pattern when I start a new ad group and then I adjust my bidding from that point:

Google Search Keywords: I start at $1.00 bidding for most keywords
Google Content Keywords: I start at $.50 bidding for most keywords

When do you start adjusting up/down? 1 day, 3 days?

    Thanks for the info.

After 1 day, if I see that numbers REALLY suck... or they're REALLY great, I will adjust the bids up or down.

If the stats after 1 or 2 days are inconclusive, I'll let it run for about 3-5 days... and closely monitor the stats and then adjust after that time

Well, I run off of a big budget each day ($1200-$1500 advertising each day)... and check out my adwords account about 2-3x a day, so I really don't set a limit for my new campaigns specifically.

I have my ringtones search campaign at a daily max of $1500... and the ringtones content at $500.

Tips for creating keywords... go to a conference and kidnap a super affiliate and torture him until he reveals to you all his secrets :)

No, but on a serious note I use a few paid tools, but the best overall tool I use for creating my keywords is Google Sandbox Tool

I guess it's the same with anything. You could do well for months and have an uptrend of sales and then all of a sudden it could drop of sharply and then go back to normal. It could be something simple like your most converting ad or keyword used has been ranked on the 5th page of Google instead of the 1st, etc.

A good thing for anyone running an affiliate business is to diversify and go into other markets once you're making good money with your offers. I've been averaging about $2,500 a day with ringtones... and yesterday hit my first $3,000+ ringtone day. Yaaah!!! :D

But I am going to diversify, perhaps go into testing dating later on this month... auto insurance next month, and a few other offers on Azoogle that look profitable.

If you can guess exactly how many hairs are on my head... I will give you the log-in and password to my Adwords & Yahoo account and also tell you all my websites!

I don't share secret keywords that I bid on of course... but I do share strategy that I use. What specifically do you want to know?

Just decided to do some testing with Azoogle again...this was a mistake.

Sent 70 ringtone visitors - zero conversions.

Thanks but no thanks, I'll continue using NeverBlue and PrimaryAds which produce somewhat decent results.

What kind of keywords are you bidding on on content network? same as search? keywords with or/and without "ringtones" in them?

Are you using broadmatch on Search?
which part of your $3000 is from the search and with how many campaign?
