Hi This is first time I'm creating a website and I want to add some Meta tag and descriptions to the PHP pages. I have few questions to ask: 1) Is it a good practice to add different meta tag and descriptions to each different web pages in my site or you can't do that ? 2) If the whole site is build by Flash, is it a good practice to add meta tags and descriptions because I heard Spiders cant read flash ? 3) How many words can I add to the meta Tag and Description? 4) For naming the individual page names, what's a good practice? ex: about.html or company name_about.html Thank you !

See above. And, yes its true- spiders do not read images, flash, etc. Use HTML. 3) How many words can I add to the meta Tag and Description? Keep it short and relevant. Try to keep less than 15 keywords and less than 120 characters in the description. 4) For naming the individual page names, what's a good practice? ex: about.html or company name_about.html Use your keywords in the page name.
Yes, adding a unique title tag and meta description element per page is an essential SEO practice. Major search engines suggest those 2 tags always be unique on each web page. The keywords meta element is hardly used by search engines anymore. You should have a non-flash version of your website for search engines, crawlers cannot currently read flash web pages right now, they might in the future.
