does a BBC backlink work as an achor text?

    If by BBC you mean the code used to markup forum replies then yes the text will count as anchor text.

    I tend to go for short anchors if possible (1 phrase with 2 or 3 keywords) :cool:

    Shorter Anchors are best, as they will give more power to each keyword!
