The latest site I have built is getting a worringly high CTR I won't mention the exact figures as I believe that is against the TOS. I have read a few threads on here saying that at around 10% CTR they start to get suspicious, well my CTR is rather close to that and I'm starting to panic. While this is good for my pocket, I don't want to get banned. I am doing nothing wrong, I have double checked their TOS to make sure I have no violations regarding ad placement etc. I just hope if it does raise some flags that they do their research properly to see that everything is legit. I'm probably just being too paranoid, does anyone else run at a high CTR without problems?
If you are doing nothing wrong an 80% CTR would be fine. Dont worry unless you are violating the TOS.
If you did nothing against TOS you don't need to panic, some sites have very high CTR. Also if you have very little impressions (100 or less) then ctr can very easily get high like that
There is no such thing as a 10% CTR being suspicious. If your site respect the AdSense rules, you have absolutely nothing to worry about.
how high is "worringly high?" 10, 20, or even 30% CTR is nothing to be worried about if you play by the books
That's all I needed to know, thanks. None of my sites have ever had a CTR as high as this new site, and I just thought I would ask as I have read a few things about google flagging sites with high CTRs.
If you have consistantly high CTR and if your site has nothing against TOS, then there is nothing to worry. However a sudden increase in CTR (like 2% to 20%) may raise the red flag.
I have a site with CTR much higher than 10%. It has been so for many months now. Don't worry about it. Follow the TOS, don't spam and don't buy traffic.
Traffic surges and high ctrs doesnt get you banned. My website had both,.. multiple times, but my account is still alive and kicking..
I think you need not to worry . This is not something unusual I guess .Wait for a few days it will come back to normal
