    I have a site “mysite.com” which has a PR of 8 and a subdomain “123.mysite.com” with a PR of 6
I am in the process of publishing new articles for my site linked mostly from the pages in my subdomain.

Due to some technical limitations, I am forced in creating the following directory structure for my articles:
    Mysite.com/articles/article-names

Do you guys see a problem with the above directory structure?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

What kind of "technical limitations" are you talking about? You must have one heck of a site with Pr8 and 6. If you did that without knowing anything about the "normal" SEO stuff, don't worry about it. Keep doing what you are doing.:)

There are no technical limitations with respect to putting pages out there. How you link those pages does make a difference, according to the SEO Gods:)

    Best of luck,
