    Hi,

What would be your recommendations for dedicated server? I'm taking a look at hostgator, any experience?

I will need a dedicated very soon, right now, on shared (at GoDaddy), site goes down (service unavailable) if I get over 150 concurent users.

BTW Server will be used for free online (flash) games, so a lot of bandwith needed and speed (downloading files 1-3 MB) is important...

    Cheers,
    N.

Right now, I am with http://www.wiredtree.com for 2 servers. This is also the best I had in dedi. They also configure their network, and my spam was reduced by 90%, I hardly received any spam emails. At first I ws worried not receiving any spam, but after 6 months, no one ever complained having sent me an email that I did not recieved. UPTIME: 100% and SUPPORT: almost instant and always right.

I have used http://www.beachcombers.net with success also, very impress.

Yes, I agree with you that wiredtree is a good company :)

Alternatively, check out these companies as well that I'm using and satisfied with it:

    www.netdepot.com (great hardware & network)
    www.softlayer.com (alternative to Netdepot)
www.nocster.com (for the vast amount of bandwidth, same datacenter as VolumeDrive)

    Cheers.

How many bandwidth do you need? We host for a flash game server too, and it's using around 2000GB/month. Is this enough for you? Or you need more?

Softlayer for sure if you have the cash. The private VPN connection is amazing.

I've got a server at The Planet as well, tons of bandwidth and no complaints so far.

If you want a VPS I can also recommend SolarVPS, again great service.

Tnx for all sugestions. BTW I need windows server with PHP also installed. I use cca about 1500 GB on one site and about 500 GB on second. One site has about 25K uniques daily and second about 3K and raising quickly, so I can pay, but anyway doesn't want to throw money away. I also prefer known companies which will not go down or bancrupt just like that.

25K unique daily ~ 17 connections per second. It's not much. A Core2duo box can handle it.
However, why you need Windows meanwhile running PHP? Do you have ASP, .NET version? MSSQL?
