Need your suggestions on optimising this site for Adsense

Hi guys could you give me suggestions on optimising this blog site for adsense. The current adsense placement doesn't appear to be effective. Suggestions & comments would be much appreciated! cheers

I dont see any ads on the homepage, Add a Vertical banner on the sidebar and a rectangular ad block in the content area this should increase the CTR for sure

 

There are no ads mate . Add vertical sky scrapper and also use link units . Link units something have higher CTR than text link ads but this might not be the case for every site . You can experiment your ad placement

 

Use Large Rectangle on posts.. that may increase the CTR.

 

How about a 250 * 250 ad unit on top of posts

 

where would I place it? top? middle? or bottom? of posts? Thanks

 

I think it would displace the layout and hinder usabilty as I find it visually obstructive

 

I've placed a 120x600 text only Skyscraper and would be placing 250x250 within some long post of else they'll be too many ads splashed.

I somehow downgrade the value of sites that have Adsense splattered all over them. I just find it rather cheap. I does not alway work when trying to properly brand a site
