You can have Adsense on pages where you are trying to sell ClickBank products as long as the content is within Adsense terms of service and the product isn't in any grey area with Google. The thing you need to be aware of is how having adsense on your site will affect the conversion rate of visitors/sales on the ClickBank product... is it better to get x amount of $0.10 clicks or a $20+ sale? How many potential customers are you 'giving away' for the sake of a few pennies each? It also depends how you are driving traffic to your site, especially if you are using Adwords you will need to be careful not to fall into the 'arbitrage site' basket and risk your adwords and adsense accounts. The best way to get conversions is normally to have as few distractions as possible... it gives visitors less options and increases their chance of actually making a purchase.
I used to have adsense on my clickbank site-- then I got smart. My sales dramatically improved after I got rid of the adsense. The whole point of a good clickbank site is to NOT give the viewer lots of clickable options to get off the page. You want them to keep reading until they click "order now." Adsense will give them links to similar products and pages in your niche-- which will get them browsing around instead of hooking them on your product. When they're on your page, you want the browsing/surfing to stop so they can devote full attention on your the product being pitched. If they have other options (like adsense or articles or other information sources) to click on, they'll usually use them. Which means your sales will drop. I don't even include a lot of internal links on my Clickbank page. External links are a no-no (expect on my link exchange page). And adsense is just asking them to leave without buying. Also, affiliates are far less likely to market a product with adsense on it. It makes your page appear more amateur-ish and they don't want to waste their hops on your adsense income. Yes, you CAN use adsense... but it will mean far less sales for you. Trust me... I've tried it and learned quickly about my misguided ways.
I didnt see any clickbank products on your website. I see a link to the marketplace but not a specific product. I manage PPC and I target niches....do these sites make money? Lots of auction type information..just curious. Do they rank well for specific phrases? With all the dynamic code and very little static information. Also is that rss feed on the page as well?
Yes, you can put your Adsense id and ClickBank link in same page. CB is not competitor of Google. I always put both to the same page.
Though you have a freedom to place Google adsense on CB products page, you are not advised to do it. It will give the visitors an alternative, so you could lose commission.
okay, i got it. I need to make visitors focus on one thing...probably i should create one site focus on clickbank and another site focus on adsense. What do you think?
What about having an adsense site that has clickbank ads that market to the same group of people but not the same products as being advertised by your adsense ads. Like for example nursing home products with shoes for seniors?
