Graduated from UC Davis at the age of 16, on December of '04. Yes, I did manage to get into some parties. Go!
LOL. I assume you got that from the style.org site. Your grade: A+ for a well researched, technically correct answer. F for missing the reference.
It allowed me to escape a regular American schooling system that I think is subpar at best and let me learn at my own pace, along with being able to choose subjects of my own interests. I don't think that graduating at 16 is my crowning achievement in life or anything like that...I'm still a normal guy with a full time job in the IT field, but I had the opportunity to experience college at a young age and had a lot of fun doing so.
lol. I'm not a genius or anything like that...I'm a guy that worked hard and made a few sacrifices to get things done. I've never taken a real IQ test but the online ones say my IQ is 130. A genius IQ is 160+, I think.
I'm just kidding around... but damn, I'm older than you were when you graduated, and I'm only thinking about going to college... I see you mentioning how the American Education system is "subpar"... I think I know what you mean, heh. One of my past teachers showed us a comparison of the SATs and a college entrance exam from Japan. Lets just say that the SATs had a simple question about the Pythagorean theorem, while the Japanese one made my head hurt just looking at it XD Which leads me to the question: What country did you originate from?
Did you just get your GED young or something? (I wish I had done that before high school) Did the colleges offer to throw a bunch of money and scholarships at you?
I majored in Sociology and minored in Psychology. Yeah, not as hard to earn as an Engineering degree...
