Hilary Clinton should be rightful winner of Democratic Party contest

    Here is the situation now:
Obama leads in delegate count while Hilary has won all the big must-win and important states like NY, California, Texas.
Obama looks like the winner in pledged delegates going into Democratic Convention where superdelegates will vote.

    But here is the thing:
Democats go on this proportional delegate allocation rule which is not used by the Republicans and also during the General/ Presidential Election. 'cos if it was used during the 2000 Election, Al Gore would be the POTUS and we would all not be living in a less safe world :D
Republicans and the GE follow the Majority wins rule (All or Nothing) so really the Democrats should have changed their delegate allocation rule long time ago. So that their nominee can get used to the Majority Rule during their party contest and used same strategy during the General Election.

If Democrats had followed the Majority rule for delegates in primaries/ caucuses, then Hillary Clinton would be the winner (yes you can do a count of the delegates she would have won in the big states http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democratic_Party_(United_States)_presidential_primaries,_2008 ).
And because the General Election is fought on Majority rule (for electoral college allocation in almost all states), it significantly means Hillary Clinton is a more suitable candidate than Obama to rap the Reps:D

so much energy goes in to estimating who the next puppet of America will be, it seems to me really, that it is all wasted energy.

Whoever gets the vote from the Dems surely should win the election, I cannot believe that Americans are so stupid to vote for an insane warmonger like Insane McPain.

Having said that Hitlary or Obomber will hardly be any better choices.

What an utter disaster it is for Americans to have to choose between these three people. :(

That's wouldn't be right, because Obama is getting votes from each and every part of the country.

You can't change the rules once the game has started. It's unbelievable to me all of these Clinton supporters who want to change all of the rules so that Clinton can come out as the winner. You just can't do that.

Also I find this very enlightening: http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.co...ign-denies-canadian-report-on-nafta-comments/

It looks like it was CLINTON's campaign who was the one who actually did what they accused Obama of doing. The hipocracy and double talk is insane.

But the fact that we are even talking about it here , shows promise that we are slowly but surely starting to wake up. This is the first step.
RP also took the first step among these candidates by even having teh guts to go against the establishment.

There is some irony here, as the US economy looks and acts like its in bad shape.

So who ever is elected will have to make some very unpopular decisions that most of the voters will find 'hard to swallow' irrespective of if they are Dem or Rep

In one sentence 'what a financial and political shambles'

The world deserves better than any of these 3 imperialistic wanna be President options

    You want Hitlary in Office?

    Poor guy.

Don't you know that both she and McCain voted for the war?

There is no excuse for those who put all of us in that pit hole Iraq.

Say no to the Anti-Christ runners Hitlery and McCain.
These people took back America 10 years back.

    "It's the economy, stupid" :D

The silly nonsensical Iraq War will be water under bridge and less important then. Clearly Hilary who is strongest on the economy has the edge:D

Hold up, there are some holes in your argument. First of all, Obama is leading Hillary in total votes among all the primaries. Of course, our country is not truly a Democracy, because we have the electoral college system. That said, Obama would still do better than Hillary against McCain in November, according to the most recent polls. You have to remember that Obama would likely win many of the states that Hillary is winning in the primaries when he's running against McCain. Obama lost New York to Hillary, but he would easily win that state against McCain (in recent presidential elections New York has voted about 65% for the Democrat). The same would likely hold true for California. Texas will likely vote for McCain in the general election anyway, so your point is moot there. If you want a Democrat to win in November, your best chance is with Obama.
