Its working now. Just when I try to search a link it does not work.

 

My server load high yesterday and when I check, Cpsrvd was failed. Frighten, I asked my admin (PSM) and this is what they replied.

because hits are nothing unless its in proxified page, you can tweak to gain more profit.
If you have MANY say 100 images in cached proxy page or homepage, 1 visitor loading 1 time = 100 hits.

Well, I got myself a dedicated server Sempron 2.8GHz with 2GB Ram and 400GB.
Got 11 proxies on it and couple more sites.

Now that I blocked all Iran and China traffic except on 2 of my proxies to reduce the load.

Maybe a million hits or visits, I don't really know...too lazy to check on each site stats.

Only submitted the site in SU by myself and just noticed it got stumbled?lol..lucky

Change your template and/or ad placement.

Redirect the old domain to your new proxy so you don't loose traffic.

Nope, they only ban for violation of their terms of service. Just don't put the ads on the proxified page, because that is a violation...

A proxified page has nothing to do with the referring traffic to the proxy. It is a page on the proxy site itself which is seen when you go the proxy and input a site in the field and go to it using the proxy.

 

word of advice: Stop parading your proxies around on DP.

This thread is a very good read. Any one have recommendations for what I should use for a small proxy <50 people? It would have to be socks5, with user/pass compatibility. It would have minimal load, no downloading or file sharing of such. The main problem I have is I need one in Japan or Hong Kong, but other that that I would say most plans can handle that load, no?

Honestly, I would just need to connect to it via a application, so not really in need of hosting per say. I can run it off an ip since I don't plan to share / advertise it publicly.

Install SSL. There is plenty sites like godaddy or comodo sell SSL at a low prices.
