Meta Keywords are essential

Meta keywords must be relevant to your website or google will penalize you if it does not appear in the body. I did some research on how to use you meta keywords and they are very essential if you want to be in the top ten in google searches. I made sure everything was ok and my meta keywords appear as relevent to my site and they would be significant to how my site acts. Also the most essential is that the title must be significant to what is to your website. Find one keyword that will top over others and use it a lot in you website.

After a while i could see that i was in the top 20.
then my anime website ruled over others.

*Psssssssssst* Google hasn't being using the meta keywords element for quite awhile now due to abuse by webmasters.

No worries, other search engines "do" use them, they don't hurt to have them inserted in your HTML document.

So then Google is strictly goin by backlinks alone?
I've seen the code on some sites that are ranked first and they have almot no meta tags for title, description and keywords.

If they're going only by backlinks, I guess the ones who buy the most win?

 

Keywords are still great. Doesn't Yahoo still use them? If they do, then it's well worth it.

Now G is not giving much importance on Keywords.
Let me know why do you like to show your competitors your targeted keywords?
If you are getting traffic through other all search engines more than G, than you can use.

 

I'd like to see a site if you don't mind - it would have to have nice content and good links but I could see it happening???

Yeah they don't mean much but unless you absolutely can't use them because you're the busiest person alive, then you should use them because some engines do. IMO

 

Which SE are still looking on Keywords?
Do you counting Google?
Exclude your traffic coming through G.
and show how much you are getting traffic through other se's.

 

Ok friends now know the fact that google is the only search engine which covers 70% of the traffic of the world and MSN, yahoo and all others tons of search engine altogether covers only 30% ration and in this 30% ratio also goolge holds some ration of its own.

So we should target to other search engine when google only can brings huge traffic. Instead of wasting time in 2%, 3%, 8%, 4% search engine why dont you try for 70%.
