Just for the sake of starting up a business conversation and chewing on some ideas I thought I would raise a question. We all know that we have to have product that everyone wants. Once you have that product it is a matter of getting the word out. We talk a lot about marketing on these forums BUT what about the actual product.... What is it that everyone wants? What is it that every webmaster, forum administrator, blog owner... wants?? Is it simply to know how to make a living online?? So name that one thing you think everyone wants....
simply traffic...it's the hardest thing to get, and once you get it - everything else is downhill if you're doing things right on your pages...
It's simple - most of webmasters want to make money. To get that money it usually means to bring more traffic as was mentioned. So if you want to create a product, create something between the webmaster and the money he wants.
Not just any traffic, "TARGETTED, HIGH CONVERTING" traffic...that will create sales/conversions and thereby enable the webmaster to cash in..
Agreed with the above poster. You want traffic that converts, it is that simple. That can be converting into regular visitors or converting into buyers, whatever your website might desire.
all webmasters want to feel proud of their sites and in order to feel proud these things are required: 1 - great traffic 2 - great revenue
I think most webmasters are in it for the money. Personally, I really like the money, but I like designing websites and collecting domains and running sites to have fun and as a hobby, too.
Success as webmaster lies in doing following things: - Quality unique content. - Backlinks - More content generation platforms - email, blogs, forums all the above will bring MORE TRAFFIC!
