    Hello guys,

I got a blog and I usually get around 2500-3000 visitors per day. I've recently started hosting and added Adsense to it. I got 3 Ads and right now I'm getting around 3-4 dollars per day. Is this normal? I don't think so. Can some one help me with this? What wrong am i doing? Please help me.

    Thanks,
    Max.

Almost everyone seems to be complaining about dwindling adsense earnings. Perhaps you should consider an alternative?

I'm not an expert so I'm sorry, I can't really give you a good answer to that. I HAVE noticed a lot of people complaining about adsense recently, though, and there are more than a few people removing adsense from their sites at the moment. Problogger Darren Rowse removed adsense from his problogger site a little while ago - for various reasons, but I doubt he'd do it if he was making great money on it. And that blog is one of the absolute biggest blogs on the planet....

You need to work on ad placement, the CTR seems pretty low.

I think 3 dollars for 3000 visits is low. Optimize ads placements.

$3 for 3000 visits is pretty low, but not horrible.

As others have said, post the URL to your site so we can take a look at it.

It also depends on topic and ads running on site. Maybe they are smart priced.

its quiet normall, but it mostly depends on the location of your visitors,
can you tell me where the majority of them come from? the top 4-5

maxy, post your link and we will help you out.

we can't really say what's wrong without checking the actual site..

anyway, for 3000 visits 3 dollars is quite low

Also, keep in mind that AdSense pays a lot less now anyway - it really is no longer the best solution to use to generate revenue from a site.

Either your ads placement are not good or the traffic are less of value to advertisers.
post your url and we can have the idea of the potential problem.

your adsense ads are away from your real content. for example you can move your 160*600 (with a diffrent size:)) under "Posted by AksFilmi at March 7, 2008". And in generally, i dont like 468*60 . it's too small. use bigger ads units.

    :)

    - Since you site are catered to entertainment, try a video ads.
    - Ads blend with the site too much, try making it a bit stand out.
    - too many articles in one page, try limit articles like 3-4 per page and put one ads in between them (make sure not more than what adsense allowed)
    - Make use of all available adsense unit.

From user point of view, when I browse your site, I hardly noticed the ads..so, my biggest suggestion, change how you blend the ads.

    hope this helps.
