Suggestion to admin / moderator - please add "issue is solved" to the title of this topic as this issue with e-gold is resolved, however if you don't want to it's fine with me, because I don't feel so much affection to e-gold at the moment.

Just mail them and ask for explanation. Also, mail this thread's link and let them know that if they can not provide you with a resonqble explanation, you will have no option but to file a crimonal complaint against them. And then call them and ask them to refer to the mail you send, and see what do they advise you to do then.

Also mention that dead line for filing a criminal/ fraudal complain is 24 hours, and once you file it, you will fight till last.

And dont talk to receiptanist there. Ask her to transfer the call to some senior authority.

    All the best

I think arie did a little plug for self advertising. His first post refers to himself as "everybody knows gptreasure, maybe not everybody but most of the folks.." or something like that.

I know someone who indeed completed number of offers in gptreasure and then wasn't paid.I don't know the details but thats what I heard.

Arie, how old are you? if you don't mind me asking...

Just a thought ...assuming the e-gold blocked your account, do you think it was because you were using paypal to buy egold?

I only see the post now as I almost don't participate here, I just don't have the time to be here in the forum, my sincere apologies.

Sorry for the advertising, that wasn't my purpose but it ended like that, it was really not my intention and I did notice that afterwards but what do you want me to do? To apologize?

Someone who didn't get paid - well, talk to me on cases that you know the facts on first hand. I've never seen/had a complaint that wasn't answered and in a very quick timing. I'm dedicating my life to make sure people are satisfied. I wonder if other webmasters do the same, but this isn't the place to discuss about it anyway.

    I'm 20-30, between 20 to 30.

I've never used PayPal to buy e-gold, and I don't know why e-gold did it on first place. It seems like e-gold found some bad people linked to our account in some way that I don't know how it's related but then realized we had nothing to do with them and apologized for any "inconvenience". I'm not sorry for making up this post, it's their mistake.

This isn't the place to discuss about it. Also, as a part of democracy we have the right to do as needed and trust me, we don't do it to offend anyone. If we do something we do it because we have to, pure and simple. I'm sorry if we can't provide service for everyone, and I can't be responsible for other websites and ask them why they don't accept traffic from your location neither.

I also don't want to turn this thread to discussion about the website. For that purpose you can start a new thread. The thread was meant to be about e-gold but since moderators don't do anything I appreciate if you keep my posts here as I do feel like I need to present the "defender" side if I shall call it defense anyway.

egold is not to blame...its the US government that is trying to put an end to digital currency.

the problems started with HYIP investors who participated in online gambling only not on a roulette table or poker table but they chose to invest their own money in high yield investment programs and when their "investment" (read: gamble) went sour they decided to cry mommy to the US gov.

egold is a wonderful concept and the only reason accounts are being blocked left and right are because they made a very very big mistake and opened shop in the USA.

nothing against the USA its just that theres 1000000000000000000000000 laws to be in compliance with and the US gov can chose to declare that you are "not in compliance" any time they see fit being that they have so many laws and restrictions.

this resulted in massive confiscation of funds by the US government where a few dishonest HYIP admins were punished with a slap on the hand and thousands of regular users who broke no law at all ended up with no money.

since then egold is in limbo neither dead or alive the funds from the main exchanger of egold OMNIPAY are blocked and waiting for years and years of court proceedings in the USA.

egold is trying to rid itself of the HYIP crowd by blocking all major accounts or anybody with any large sum...not because they want to but because the US gov. can accuse you any time and bare 0 consequences.

never ever EVER use a digital currency or exchanger based in the USA!

not to sound like a hater but the truth is the US gov. will confiscate your funds with no reason at all it happened to many people i know...they claimed egold was used to fund terrorists

some other payment systems in free countries are liberty reserve, webmoney and pecunix they are relatively safe and well away from any US government "ideas".

not using a US based digital currency is only the first step.

the US government also seizes funds from exchangers so be sure your exchanger has nothing to do with the USA at all...not to sound like a hater but the US gov. loves to seize funds with false accusations it has happened many times and is reality not hate propaganda. i dont hate anybody.

also if you do not live in the USA avoid pay pal like the plague.

treasure.com, good to hear all ended well, but your story sounded like a copy of a story of mine that happened some 6 years ago when I began to read the first page of this thread. I wasn't that lucky, lost $5,500 and received those standard emails just like a whole lot of people I've met online throughout the years. Basically, you can't do anything without a good lawyer and a court order and it gets harder when you live overseas.

There is one alternative e-currency I would advice, Liberty Reserve, incorporated under the laws of Costa Rica. For the time being a good alternative, no complaints whatsoever.

They want e-gold to close shop and they're gonna do it legally, atvking. The only question is when. The last step towards that direction was taken today. They want your DOB now.
    I hope it dies quickly.
