When do you plan to quit your daytime job to work full time on your commerce sites?

    Hello DP Members:

I saw lots of webmasters on this forum make from $10K to $50K a month for Adsense. However, I still don't even reach $500 a month. I 've been doing a few sites for a year now but never get a dreamed outcome.

What is the best way to make good money on Adsense? I tried adwords but the more I try the more I loose money. People said that if you try to bid low, you will win the game. I already tried to bid 5 cents or below for a month, no body click on my ads.

    Please advice.
    Thanks.

I quit my day job about three years ago and have been working online since then. I don't do adsense, amazon, or Ebay.

You need a ton of traffic to make big dollars with Adsense. Of course that can vary depending on what type of site you have and what the keywords bid on are.

I'm still a part time A Level tutor, which is kind of tired to teach the same topics day after day...

I'll quit my job in the near future, if the Big G can make me a big $$$...

I'm making about 500-600/month right now, when I step the income up to 3k/month...ill make it my day job...i just cant seem to get that "killer" site. i have a bunch of small sites.

i think all you need is one HUGE site and from that you can build up any other site. it really only takes one successful site to help build ranking for other sites.

I would need to replace my full time day job salary + benefits to quit, but I wouldn't want to do that until I'd been making that much for 3-6 months to have a buffer in the bank....

They make that big money thru Adsense and affiliates (clickbank, etc.)
They must have lots of traffic.

Don't rely just on adsense...Promote relevant affiliate offers too.

To rely on google adsense will risk for unexpected factors in the futrue, If I have enough incomes from adsense, I will also retain my day time job.

I think I can't quit my daytime job because I really don't know a way to get tons of traffic. I tried Adwords but always loose money. If I bid low, then I got no click.
I don't know how good they are at math to use adwords to win money.
I know someone on this forum mentioned this:
$1.00 (spend) on adwords = $1.25 (return in revenue) = smart webmasters
For me, $1.00 (spend) on adwords = $0.50 (return in revenue), I don't know why.
    Thanks.

Jenny PPC can be difficult to learn for newbies and the education will definitely cost you money.. I would recommend going for free, organic search traffic at first instead.

Google Adsense is also paying out a lot less per click because of the coming recession - there are less advertisers and Google is not reaching profit expectations (share prices suffering as a result).

If you have a sucessful site with lots of valuable traffic (for comercial phrases), why bother with Adsense ?
Cut out the middleman and sell advertising direct to the big players in your keyword market.
