Yesterday I used Commission Junction to add links to individual products on my website. For example, I am affililiated to Pet Planet. I was able to go to the advertiser detail page, click on products and search their catalogue for dog beds. This yielded 82 results. Today I have done exactly the same thing and there are no products at all in the catalogue. Whatever search I use it just says, "Sorry, no results found." I thought maybe it was to do with Pet Planet so I tried Argos instead. Whatever I typed into their search box also came up with, "Sorry, no results found." Is there a problem with the CJ website? Has anyone else had trouble?
Some of us had the same problem after CJ was down for maintianence. You need to turn your language and targeted areas filter off. This is what I did to do that: Click on Get Links. Then click on Additional Search Options. In the options select Link Type: Banners. Relationship Status: My Advertisers. Language: All. Advertiser's Targeted Area: All. After that click on the Find button. It will bring the list of your advertisers. Then if you click Home and go to your advertisers on the bottom of the home page, all your banners and links should be searchable now. It seems like a long way to do that but it worked for me and I do not know any other way to do that process. Let me know if it worked.
I'm in the UK. Thank you for this. I've tried everything you suggested but nothing seems to work. I can't bring up any products at all. I've sent a message to CJ to see if they can help.
I finally got a reply from CJ which told me to turn the language filters off. I can't get any products again today so I've tried to turn off the filters to no avail. I've tried all ways but as soon as I look for my advertisers the language filter turns on again. This is very frustrating as I have a new website and I'm trying to populate a shop with a lot of products. It's no good if I can only access the products on certain days. Any help on this would be much appreciated.
I have the same problems also. I noticed it last week and im noticing it now. Very annoying.. in Canada btw.
I am having the exact same problem for months now. It's killing me, and there's no way around it no matter what I've tried. And yes, I'm in the US. Sometimes it seems to work, but more often it doesn't.
cj haven't been much help on this so far. They sent me a screen shot showing banner links and said it all worked fine for them. It isn't banners I'm looking for. I can get those OK, it's the links to individual products. It's happened again this morning just as I thought I had a few hours to work on the shop on my website. I've now made a web page just to illustrate the problem. http://www.agilitybits.co.uk/cjproblem.htm
Trisha, It happened to me here again, I couldn't get a link for a few good hours last night. It works now and you can tell right away because it takes time to perform a search when results are being returned.
