    Hi

I also have a website and I tried in 2 ways to promote him.

One of them was Google adSense for advertising my website, but I was not very happy with the results I got. And then I googled 'opt-in email advertising' and tested each week the companies I found there and acceptable results I got for taketheinternetback.com because their ads results were a little bit better in terms of generated visits and conversion.

If there's anyone who tried another method ... share with us.

I think that you can get a lot of hits to your site if you're going to pay for it.

What about putting it on shoutwire.com? If you get 1st page, you get a possible 10,000 Unique visitors.

Wow that's pretty good. I didn't think shoutwire was that popular anymore.

Hey, I think you're missing Social Media Sites and social networking sites like Myspace, Facebook, etc. Those will help out a LOT as well, if you know how to use it.

The thing about shoutwire is they delete most submissions that aren't news or something entertaining.

I'm still trying to figure out SU. I've stumbled several of my sites but nothing seems to come of it. Not sure if I'm missing something or if its hit & miss?
