    Microsoft has the potential to beat Google if they bought Yahoo. I'm a Google Fan. but I am very sure that they would beat Google heres why:

    Remember Myspace.com?
    What happened to it? Spam Attack.

    Then came Facebook. and it is growing like crazy. Users not only moved from Myspace to Facebook. They even deleted their accounts to join Facebook.

    this acquisiton would make alot of sense because google is clearly miles ahead of both yahoo and msn search so buying yahoo and merging it with msn may give then a competitive edge

    Yahoo has always said they they are not in the same market as google and that they offer a different range of services. However would the yahoo acquisition include yahoo ad services which is a type of reach that would help any company stay well monetized.

    At the end, Yahoo is secretly looking for more offers. Even though the first offer was rejected Microsoft is giving them time to consider it more until the 14th of Marh, I believe.
