Solar stock are off like a rocket today wow. I nabbed some SPWR and STP early, see some good $$ today.

 

Solar stocks are indeed getting a lot of attention from the street lately. Google has invested in a private nanosolar company and that sounds very promising. Right now though, there does not exist any publicly traded pure nanosolar play. If one ipo's, i'd be very interested in that.

 

I sold my solar yesterday, and thank god for that they blew.

Wisdomtool, I really think the market will get another correction sometime this year. If i were investing i would think about it at that point. If i had the money i would give anything to get into tiny at between 3.50 and 4.50. I Had a rock bottom bid many years ago to buy it at 3 bucks but the market maker would never let the ask reach that price. It then zoomed to 27 bucks at the mere mention of a strong ipo market. When things are at there worst and everyone yells "the sky is falling" That is historically the best time to enter the market. Its called the contrarian view and it has historically worked out very well for investors.
Just keep an eye on it and be very patient as these are great conditions for patient investors.

During the market boom years it was great to buy a stock that was allready hot cause everyone knew that it would keep going up.
Right now there are no signs that any of their private companies are going public.

Tiny down again to 6.39 still plenty of time to be patient because these are not market conditions for its portfolio companies to go private. This is a petient investors market. Keep watching it, it should go down more

 

SIRI is doing great @ $2.83, down 8.3% from your recommendation and down 12.4% from $3.23. SIRI sucks why do you think it is priced so low? Just because a small dollar move is a big gain to these guys doesn't mean it is coming.

As I also said Google and the rest of the tech sector blows. Google is atrocious in the mid $400's from it's fall in the $700's.

Today's market is a lose-lose one for investors with inflation and volatility. Hard to make money in the downward trending equity markets and sitting in cash just eats away your money because of inflation. Best thing to do is to go into TIPS and wait for the dust to settle.

 

Well when you say 'investor' I think long term and they want business to thrive. This does not coincide with those who short, they want they business to nosedive. And Google has had like a 15% decline since the $520's so they were also stupid. Don't fight the trend.

 

I'm saying those talking about buying GOOG @ $520 were stupid, I told them not to as well.

 

Anything financial or real estate is getting poleaxed this morning.

 

If the NFP disappoints we'll be under 12000. The NFP is a market mover so it has to influence to knock us under 12000 easy, especially in this bear market.

 

Support is right where we are right now. Scary huh?
