    www.cheap-domainregistration.com

I haven't had any problems ever and I have several domains registered that I've carried over the last three to four years.

thanks for all again. I looked all of these registrar, godaddy is the most expensive ($9.99) and for whois protection $6 something. But I chose godaddy and it is absolutely superb! changing nameservers just took 1 minute and other things very organized. (like menus)

Godaddy is very cumbersome in its interface...always trying to trick you to pay for extra options.
They also have various obscure 'admin fee' as mentioned by another poster above.

Their customer service is also ignorant and unhelpful.
I still have one valuable domain stucked somewhere and cannot be retrieved after several weeks, because they've blocked the login for suspected fraud for no reason.

I've found name.com cheaper at $6 per domain without any coupon, much cleaner interface, and no problem so far.
