Is there any way to advertise explicitly on GMail? The "Placement-Targeted" ads could not find "gmail.com" or "Mail.google.com". Any info?
NOPE! This comes straight from the horses mouth... "Placement-targeted ads aren't eligible to appear on the Google search network, Google, or related Google properties like Gmail. "
gmail ads tend to be much more targeted than regular adwords, so no...you cant target it directly from adwords.
But, if you advertise in adwords, it will also appear in gmail... I say this becoz, I get a couple of visitors from gmail ads...!(as i have ads running thro adwords)
Google need to work on their share of the email market because having their own targeted ads is simply genius IMO.
No you can't but just turn on Content Network. G would place your ads in Gmail for you automatically.
It is the content network and you can do it using placement targeting as well as automatic placement. Only need to specify gmail.com
I agree with Lucid, not sure why others are mentioning it's not available from placement targeting. I have 3 campaigns running using content marketing with placement url such as gmail.com without any issue.
My question is about the cheapest way to create an add withch targeted specific languge! i saw a lot of site bur, as a non profit society, we found it above what we could afford. your advices would be apprecited!
No, not yet. I imagine this to be a possibility in the future... filtering specific locations that your ads appear.
