http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNe...8/turkey_Gates_080228/20080228?hub=TopStories Obama is speaking against NAFTA to Americans while his senior economic advisor ran ahead of him to warn Canada that he would be saying such things but not to worry about it because its just "rhetoric." Even if Obama were to grow horns and a tail Democrats would still say at least he's better than Hillary. He's not made of Teflon. He's "anybody but Hillary or McCain." You can view the original story here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAJYMgX4JuU
Exactly. I could be the world's biggest Obama supporter, and not know it. Yeah but you're not running, so we don't have to worry about that!
NAFTA is the first step toward the North American Union. They may as well get it over with they can't keep the god damn borders shut anyway. You have illegals coming in from everywhere. May as well just get rid of the borders and unify to one currency. That is what NAFTA is going to lead to anyway.
It's a matter of who we distrust least. Of the three, (to me) it's Obama (most "trustworthy") McCain Clinton
This looks like a desperate attempt to get some "dirt" on Obama to me. Compared to what comes and goes every day in politics this is nothing. It's really amazing to me that Clinton supporters are going after this story so hard considering the far worse dirt that's all over Hillary. I think the only reason this story has any legs at all is because people have such high expectations of Obama and certain people want to see him toppled.
If Hillary gets office I'm leaving this country and if Obama gets office I may do the same. Though I hear predictions that people think if he did get office someone would try to assassinate him. I hear so much different crap about everything though that nothing surprises me anymore.
I remember that being said by some celebs(Alec Baldwin i.e.) before Bush. Don't think any actually kept there words. Today i heard on the news sth like Ahmedinejad saying they will never let Obama be the pres. even if he receives the entire vote. Who here agrees with him? Some journalist or sth has earlier said he will be assasinated by them if he gets elected. There is too much speculation around him.
I hear Colombia is pretty stable too. I don't think any of the 3 choices would be nearly as bad as George W. Could you imagine if Hillary took office? She already claims there's this huge 'right wing conspiracy'. Obama may actually be threatened with a real assassination, but Hillary would probably be screaming "assassin, assassin, the Conservatives are trying to kill me!", even thought nobody's trying to kill her. I'd rather have Obama. He'd probably be less annoying.
I can't take cold so even though I got a friend or two in Canada I'd go to Mexico. Tell them federales down there that the fence works both ways. Then I would just start throwing mexicans over the fence into the states. Tell em their whore got office and now they own the country. I'd never vote for Clinton or Obama simply because they voted against making English the official language of this country.
Exactly my point. Nobody cares because "everyone else is so much worse." Did you ever wonder why the Secret Service hangs around the President? Every President is in danger of being killed. I'm going to predict that Obama will ultimately fail. He started out strong with the idea of "real change" but now he's being outted as just another lying politician that will say whatever will get him votes. He can't be trusted. McCain has stood behind unpopular decisions despite the risk to his career. He says unpopular things because they're true. "The jobs aren't coming back." is what he said in Michigan. Romney said he'd get them back. McCain won in Michigan. People would rather hear the hard truth than a lie. If Obama was actually about change he'd say the same thing to voters as he had his advisor say to Canada. If Obama doesn't start saying some hard truths I think ultimately McCain will win.
