How much time it takes to rank #1 , competition 5000

Exactly. Plenty people here are more than willing to give you free advice, but theres not going to be many who will try and decrypt your post first. If you want some decent answers, then take the time to write out exactly what it is you need. Right now I dont have a clue.

 

if you were to ask with a less competitor it just a couple of months really depends on how you optimize your blog the lesser the easier to make your keyword rank.

I agree 5k is nothing at all - a few decent backlinks and you're number 1 or damn close.

 

Do the backlinks and write the unique content,Update the web regularity.The rank will up and up to No.1

5000 i can do that in few hours .. lol may be in couple of seconds ... All White Hat techniques !!

 

I think that's depend on the competitors (quantity and quality). It's too difficult to predict how much time it will takes. Just optimize your site and make it the best it can be.

 

5000 is easy. Probably a well optimized page (on page) with a few links with the anchor text will do it. Not sure of the time it will take. I've had sites rank in 2 days, but now, I'm working on some new sites that are already 1 week old and just starting to show up. Good luck with the site!

 

What tool are you all using to to get keyword competition values eg 5000 ?

 

Marx, you can do this by a simple search on that keyword in Google. It will tell you how many results there are at the top right corner of the first page results. You then know how much competition you have. 5,000 is a really low number on a keyword, I am typically competing with hundreds of thousands of others, if not in the millions. It should be quite simple to rank well.

I would recommend just getting a good page title, adding a meta description (even though many say it doesn't have much impact), try to use your keywords in <h1> tags somehow, and you should be ranking soon.

 

Being one of the 5000 competitors is not hard to rank. You need to build more backlinks on your site in order to rank it well.
