Hi guys, I realize that our policies regarding international affiliates have been very tight, and while this has been a necessity to ensure that we only have the highest quality affiliates in our system, we do realize that not all international affiliates are created equally. Let me first apologize to all those affiliates that have been denied entry to AzoogleAds simply because they are "international." With that said, we are going to open up the doors to about 30-50 new international affiliates, so if you've been denied in the past, please re-apply again. The caveat, however, is that your INITIAL payment terms are going to be set to Net-90. This sucks, but hopefully this will deter those that we want to keep out of the network from applying. We are going to audit your traffic and make sure its clean, and once we have determined that there are no issues with your account, you will be moved to standard payment terms. Once you have applied, please email and and let us know so that we can have our approvals team look at your account. Please keep in mind, your account is still going to be reviewed just like any other publisher and you will still have to pass all other tests to get in, you simply will not be denied solely on the basis of the country in which you reside. Thank you to all for your posts here, constructive or not, they are appreciated. We look forward to working with you.
Holy shit. Net 90? That would be impossible to work with unless you had a huge amount of cash sitting around. These are horrible terms.
Believe me, with the amount of fraud coming from international affiliates lately, net 90 is a necessity. I work on the advertiser side of a few affiliate programs (in other networks), and have banned certain countries outright due to the amount of fraud lately.
Yes, this absolutely sucks. Thats only where you are right. Other than that thinking that it will keep "those" out of your network. It will also keep some people who are making $1000 a day with neverblueads out because they are using PPC. And I hope you know what it means NET-90 for PPC guys. Best of luck, but this not gonna get you good affiliates.
I'm not in the US. That means AZOOGLE looks at me with suspicion? Did I do something wrong? Who would wait for net90 ? are you nuts? that would cause a serious cashflow problem. Azoogle, you're a disappointment! You shouldn't have posted this, it makes you look bad !
Guys, please READ: "INITIAL payment terms are going to be set to Net-90" The word INITIAL means that this is what you will start with. Once we are satisfied that your traffic is good, you will be moved to standard payment terms, which are Net-15. If you don't want to apply, don't, there are plenty of networks that will take your business. If you would like to work with us and have legitimate traffic, we are more than happy to have you with us. Sorry, pissed off morning. Thank you.
Alex, just wondering, are/were you guys rejecting ALL international publishers, or just from certain, more "fraud-prone" countries? Or would someone from the UK/Germany/basically any western EU country have problems as well.
No, we weren't rejecting everyone, just more fraud-prone countries, and by the way, fraud comes from all over the place, not any specific countries, it's just more difficult to deal with individuals from certain countries, so we chose not to work with them. There were a lot of affiliates that got in over the last while, even if we were rejecting pubs from their home country. We've posted here MANY times that if you call us and talk to us and have a compelling reason for why you should be in the network, we would consider your application very seriously, so those that followed this advice are working with us and generating lots of revenue. I hate that it has to be this tight, but we have to look out for our advertisers' best interests in this case, as fraud becomes a problem if you are not careful.
I am not sure who is loosing here. Who is the one out of options. I always thought the market is consumer oriented. You burst my bubble.
Obviously Azoogle was screwed too many times, and had to make a business decision. The answer to your first part about who is losing, was Azoogle apparently. It's not only about where fraud is prone to come from, but the legal recourse available to prosecute fraud.
Johu, can you please tell where you signed as advertiser and in which aff programs as well as which countries you have to ban due to fraud (also what exactly they have done as fraud activity). I am sure such information will only help everyone.
Thank you to those that applied and got approved. if there is anyone else that needs help please let us know.
I just figured I'd chime in, as I have no affiliation with Azoogle, but tell the people complaining about the terms to consider it from Azoogle's perspective. Sure, you may be an honest person, but if 20% of the advertisers from your country aren't, that can ruin Azoogle's business entirely. At least you're now being given the option of participating.
Interesting. I have already quoted your words and published it through communities. Hope the future gets better so that we have more choice rather than a monopoly.
I'm planning to apply. I tried applying before but I didn't proceed with the necessary steps as I'm blogging from China. I don't have a permanent address as I travel most of the time due to the nature of my work.
