One domain and many subdomains?

    Hi folks

    I'm thinking about picking up a general domain name and just creating subdomains for squeeze pages and such....Albeit related to the general domain...widgets.com = brown.widgets.com....happy.widgets.com

    Is this a good idea?

    imo creating folders are better than creating loads of subdomains.
