How to become a moderator?

Being a Mod here is like being Made Man in the mafia.

 

PM Crazy_Rob 5,000 times a day. I told this to the last person who asked and now they are a mod.

Of course it does them no good as they are banned also.

Truthfully who cares? I mean come on guys yeah this is a great forum but you are not gonna get squat by asking for it.

Work hard be honest and be truthful that is all. Try to do your best and not make an idiot of yourself.

Maybe you will get to be mod but if you do not it is not the end of the world. More important things to do then worry about being a mod anyways.

Why would anybody want to be a mod?

With a forum the size of DP, it's alot of time to devote to.

It's an important, but thankless position.

After running forums for many years i have learned one thing for sure. Never give mod positions to those who ask.

For me it's a bit different. Shawn asks me all the time to be a mod because, I quote: "You're sooo cute Cody". But I have to say no, that I know I'm cute, but I'm a guy, and stuff...It's almost a sexual harrasment in here ...

Beside, I know for a fact that he pays some mods with sex...

I have been asked to mod in chat rooms before. I told them no. I would tell DP no for certain. This place is huge, I know nothing of webmastering, and only place I spend any time is in GC. I tried looking at the other forums and realized there is no way in hell I will ever learn coding. Y'all have a good one.

I agree usually when they ask to mod they don't need to be mods.

 

So you are here just for general chat?
