Don't chase high PR sites only when your benefits likely will result the same as a PR0 site submission. Most high PR sites are only for the homepage and chances are that when you submit, your site is NOT listed on their homepage; therefore, you DON'T get the benefit of their PR rank. So before you spend top dollars chasing high PR sites, don't forget that the little guys can help you just as much, and for a fraction of the cost. I just launched 2 directories recently, which are not typical bid directory. Outside of being cheap, all submitted sites get blogged about for additional traffic, which no other bid directories offer. Stop chasing and give us a try: http://www.4yn.com and http://www.safaari.com
HI Mcmuney i'd agree with your comment that about being listed on internal page that do not have PR but there are still plenty of dir with some internal PR which are free. Do you by any chance offer a limited time free submission? Ps Liked your site nice layout Cheers..
Yes, some have PR on internal pages also, but not many. Most have PR0 or None on internal pages. That's been my experience.
Agree. Just want to make it aware to the nubees out there so they don't overspend thinking they're getting a great deal when they are not.
Thanks for the offer. I submitted cheap-adult-diapers.com, online-poker-supplies.com, buy-airsoft-sniper-rifles.info.
There are lots of inner pages out there with PR. A simple way to check those out is to watch your toolbar PR indicator as you click from the home page deeper into the website's pages. I've received tons of backlinks with PR, and offhand I don't recall a single one of them being from someone's home page. In fact, most of my own site has PR3 or PR4 inner pages. So just do your homework, and you can find lots of inner pages with PR. Now getting a link from those inner pages may not be so easy. Most directories with inner pages with PR are paid directories. EDIT: Please don't misunderstand my comments about my own site. It's not a directory, and I don't give out or sell links, so please don't email asking about that. Thanks.
