Ok, so my son is becoming 1 on april the 11 and I have been saving cash for a few months now (still not enough :( ) and trying to win some competions, cause I wanna give him something special.

I just do now know what to give. What could be special enough for a first years birthday??

    any idea's?

A toy, any toy that says it's okay for kids his age will be perfect.

Something with shapes and big parts. :D

Beware! Dont give him a computer, i made that mistake when my son got 2 years old, and these days, is 3 years, as soon as he comes from college, first thing he want it's the mom's laptop so he can check noddy.com and go nuts on word with font size 48 lmao :D:eek:

anyaways, give him something with big blocks and great colors: he will love it!

    Congrats! ;)

Nothing wrong with that! I was introduced to the WWW when I was 9. I stumbled upon a site called NeoPets where you could customize your profile with "HTML".

I learnt HTML and Javascript by 10, and CSS and PHP by 11.

Had my first .net website and flash game by 12, and was selling website templates online by 13 :)

    Starting early is good.

Buy some domains on his behalf. Keep them until he is old enough to know how to use them wisely. Let him sell them if he wants, or develop them. This is what I did for my brothers 8th birthday. I will give the domains to him when he gets to 13.

Any toy will do fine.. you can also get him a savings bond which he can put aside until he's a certain age.

Why save up? Craft something up yourself. He'll remember it better than a toy..

    or a domain name.

On my grandson 1st birthday---we had the family over---grandpa, grandma and his cousins and put balloons all over and played Sesame Street and other kids music and at this age they love musical toys---and musical stuffed animals------oh yeah! Lots of music variety! Have fun! Don't forget the cupcakes---with little candles in them---instead of a BIG CAKE that they can't BLOW OUT!

Just think a perfect gift. Why don't you think to give him a pet bird or fish with fish tank as a gift? Not to play with them, but to see the activities. Hope he will enjoy... :)

ah thanks people for the nice idea's.

I am df NOT yet goiong to introduce him with computers or theninternet yet ;) do not want him to end up like mommy.

Puppy's and kittens no good ida either because whe do not really have the room for anymore animals.

The fish tank is a good idea, especially since whe already have 3 fishtanks and daddy is crazy about them to lol ;)
