I've moved to Apple because when it came to upgrade my XP computer, I really didn't want to go to Vista after using it on some colleagues/friends computers. Windows 7, though, is going to be awesome if you ask me. Everything they promised in Vista but didn't deliver is going to be Windows 7. Vista really isn't even that different, it's just XP with Service Pack 3 But Windows 7, that should kick some butt!
Yes, it would. I will be more advanced than Vista, would almost certainly require more resources, so would be worse PS Vista's much better than XP
The new version of windows (windows 7) as I have heard will support multi GPU (even from different producers) to work together for better graphics and gaming experience and will be released in 2010.
You guys totally missed the topic, Windows 7 is a new operating system. And I think that is Windows hopes to keep its good name (which is almost gone) they will need to have something good.
How is Windows losing their name? Most of the world's population uses windows. A typical family computer uses Windows. Of course, OSX is still good, but I don't think typical computer novices would use OSX.
hmmm any chance of Windows 7 having some of those MANY features we were promised for vista,,,that they never had time to complete (only 6 years or so).
it was called Windows BlackComb, windows Vienna, and now the official i mean REALLY REALLY the name for the next windows is Windows Seven (or as in logo Se7en) Vista is good. Vista is really good. I mean the only trouble is the DEFAULT SETTING. That's the BAD one. You need to tweak your windows Vista in order to get most out of it. It is far better than windows XP. If you've been using vista for a while you'll find that XP just suck. I'm a web developer I found that using vista makes me do stuff two times faster. Just like in Apple Computer, but I don't really like Mac's interface. That's why I chose Vista.
It will be many many years away, Vista is only out recently, they are still ironing out the problems. They would not want to cannabalize such a new product.
This is a too far away scenario I guess, while most are still struggling with Vista or keeping hold of their XP.
