    Hi,

How do I know if my blog is do-follow or no-follow? Is there any tools to check this out?

    Thanks. :)

www.systemseven.de has a great tool for checking.

But for your OWN blog.... you should know if its do-follow or no-follow :)

Blogs come "nofollow" out of the box. You'll need a plugin to change the attribute.

if you want a quick way to recognize nofollow links, download this extension for Firefox: http://www.quirk.biz/searchstatus/

good plugin, it's the first thing I install on Firefox with a fresh install

so "do follow sites" are the sites that let search engines follow the links?

    am i right?

you can find out that through the meta tag or the robots.txt

There is a way to check no follow in both IE and Fire Fox. I found it here Andy Budd. It is a bookmarklet and all you do is drag his link into your favorites in IE or book marks in Fire Fox and it it s script and when you go to a page and click it in your favorites, it will highlight all no follows as red. All you do is click once on the link and drag it up to favorites or bookmarks and release.

I have used it on both browsers and it works great with no problems. This is not my blog I just found it through a friend and the tool is free to use.

Yes do follow are the links that are followed by the search engine spiders and they carry PR juice from the site they are listed on. You can check the page source code through view source when you right click on the page but the script I listed is much easier than searching through code.

    Wordpress blogs.

fsmedia suggested a good method. Alternatively you can just view the source code of any page with comments and search for nofollow.
