Peel Away Ads - Free Tool

A while ago I was looking for different ways to push some of my affiliate programs. I wanted to create something that would draw users attention, but not be annoying as well.

I ended up using peel away ads. I then thought that others would probably like to use the tool as well so I created a nice little web tool.

PeelAwayMaker is a peel away ad maker that allows you to set the clickthrough url, corner image, and the ad image. After uploading the tiny 4KB .JS file it only takes one line of code to install.

Check it out and tell me what you think.
    Thanks.

Nice idea, but many out there know nothing about html. Even something simple like this.

I know enough to get by, but I couldn't make it work.

Many times just copying and pasting html doesn't work.

I tried it, and just this showed up on the bottom of my page: <script src="peelaway.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

I also clicked on "create" after putting in my url in the "corner image" box, but a box came in asking me if I want to save it or open it. I chose "open," but all it did was open my Dreamweaver software.

Sorry, but it needs more work on the tutorial for the computer dummies.

Also, you have to keep in mind that not many will do this, fearing spyware and or viruses.

The reason some are saying that the link dosen't work is because it is malformed. You have a space before the .com and after the www. and that will not work.

As for the peel away script, its interesting, but not very useful since the two flash movies that it needs are being called from your site and that is not something most people will want to do since if you site fails or is slow, then that will have a bad effect those using the script. You need to provide for downloading the two flash movies so that they can be placed along with the JS file on the user's site.
    Cheers,

Thank you for all of the feedback, I will be making changes to make things easier to understand and more detailed. I am also going to add a page for 'Advanced Users' that will contain all the info on running everything from your own server if thats what you prefer.

    Thanks Again!
