Best Social Bookmark Plugin for Wordpress?

In your opinion which is the best Social Bookmark plugin for Wordpress which will be easy and quick for my readers...Without a major lag that would become annoying after awhile...

 

Nothing is quick and easy when it comes to getting visitors, but "My Blog Log" is the only plug in/widget that I have on my blog.
But you have to participate in the community for it too work.

I tried many and settled on Sociable.

OK i've been looking at these without a clue, seeing as 2 people have mentioned Sociable i am going to install this.

 

Addthis or Sharethis, both have all of the major services and fit in a tiny bar

i tend to not really like the way most of them are added to the site...for example where they are placed...and with some of them i cant find them in the templates to change their locations...I have seen a few sites with options on the sidebar to bookmark the posts on various sites....no drop down or anything, just like some sort of widget i guess...whenever u went to a different post or page it was automatically coded to bookmark that post if you clicked one of the buttons...just cant find the plugin, if it is one...may be custom...?

Arwen54 beat me to it, but I definitely recommend ShareThis for wordpress blogs. It's also available for other non-wordpress social bookmarking.

I think I've even seen a number of national newspaper sites use this.

 

I was also using ShareThis and it's a pretty good plug-in. My reservations about it (and the reasons I switched) are:

1. It relies on code residing on the ShareThis servers which they can change as they choose. In my case, some of those changes messed up the formatting - they did provide fixes for these but i still had to wait for them to do so.

2. The plug-in requires a load from the ShareThis servers. I'm not crazy about having to rely on someone else's server for functionality on one of my sites.

 

Minstrel, now you have me wanting to take a much closer look at the code of the plugin to see what you are referring to.

 

wow, Minstrel, I took a closer look at the ShareThis plugin code, and just like you said it does rely on alexking.org (ShareThis author) servers, just like you posted! Not good...so guess what I'm doing right now? yup, switching to Sociable. Thanks for the heads up!

I use Sociable myself and like it but I would prefer some bigger icons. Does anyone know if you can just replace those images with something bigger and if so, is there a site that has bigger icons to use?
