How do I track the activity that an affiliate linked banner ad on my site has ? I want to see if people are clicking it so I can see if its the right product and/or placement or if I should try something else ?
You could put a querystring value at the end of the link and then monitor it in your web stats i.e. http://www.linktosite.com?ad=1 If you add the querystring to the banner link everytime it is clicked you should be able to identify it in your web stats.

You can use an analytics program like google analytics and they will show you if anything was clicked.
