Amazon in RSS

Is there a way to get amazon to show in rss feeds for a blog? The links work fine for my regular page but the javascript doesn't carry over into the RSS, just the anchor text.

Edit: using a wordpress.org blog FYI

 

I'm also looking for information on wp plugin. hope somebody can provide some information.

 

I dont sure about "wp-amazon" plugin. I never use wp.

Not sure if this is any help. It only works for Blogger at the moment, but if enough people are interested I could attempt to add a WordPress option.

The script does not have access to your password or any other information information. When you allow the script access to your Blogger account an authorization token is passed back to the script, this will then allow you to generate pages from your chosen RSS feed and post straight to blogger without leaving the page. The authorization token is valid until you logout. Once logged out, the script has no further access to the blogger account and you will be required to authenticate again.

weird, i wonder how to get it into wordpress...someone could make a sweet plugin.

 

I intend to extend the rss to blogger script with Commission Junction and Ebay affiliate feeds. I think though, the best course of action would be for me to develop this into a WordPress plugin. Maybe have the user submit a keyword and have the script generate a post with CJ, Amazon and Ebay affiliate feeds. If enough people are interested I will schedule it has the next development project.

 

wp-plugin for amazon will be a very handy tools. I'm interested for sure.

well im using a free wp plugin called feedwordpress for this, its work well but there is one problem when the plugin updating amazon bestsellers rss some of it are the same post as before. If anyone can make rss feed that can eliminate duplicate or same content it will be great.

I am no have experience in rss feeds for a blog.

 

If you are using feedburner for your RSS, you can put Amazon and Adsense in it - there is an option under managing your feeds. I don't know if it converts, but I've been using it for some time now.
