Places to Write for Backlinks

I recently stumbled onto the idea of writing for backlinks (at places such as EzineArticles).

What other websites will allow articles to be submitted in exchange for some backlink action?

I'm planning on giving EzineArticles a go, any others rival this service?

You can write for just about any site for back links if the owner is willing. Submission sites are a good start, but you might also consider guest blogging or writing for content sites. Some owners will take your content (links included) for a small payment or with a great deal of gratitude - especially if its better than what's normally on the site ;P.

    Good Luck!

If you have any money to spend, what I do for backlinks and it works really well is use payperpost (dot) com, if you have a few hundred dollars you can get bloggers to post articles for you about your site, everything from mini-blogs to blogs with a Google PR5+ I get a really REALLY good response everytime I use them!!

Well, what is your niche? I might be able to give a freebie or two depending on your niche. Let me know so I know if I can help or not to place your article on a blog or two if you would like. I could possibly help with a link or two depending on your niche.

My mistake. I meant submission only sites.

The Google crackdown on link sales has me worried. :)

Don't exclude other genuine opportunities - not everything is a link sale. :)

Guest blogging or an article offered to another site with your links isn't the same as buying a random link. Find a blogger or site owner in your niche and see if he's interested in fresh content, etc... You might be surprised how many large blogs and sites will readily accept your work without it getting lost in thousands of articles on large submission sites. It just takes a bit more work to contact and market yourself directly to webmasters/owners, but you may see a better response - it varies.

There are hundreds of other submissions sites out there. I know I've seen lists before ranked by PR - just not sure where. LOL

    Thanks for the tips!

I can't seem to find anyplace in the TOS of EzineArticles about using duplicate content. If I upload an article to EzineArticles.com, can I use it elsewhere too?

No you will not be able to use it! Unless you put a reference at the bottom of the article & link back to EZA!
By the way, article submission is dead - thanks to G's duplicate content policy & i have stopped submitting articles!

Could you point out where it says that in the Ezine TOS?

Not that I don't believe you, I just can't find anything on it
