We are developing something similar, the wordpress plugin just imports single items at the moment, but there will be an amazon auto blog feeder addon soon (including descriptions, reviews, etc. at your choice)...although it may not be free

 

link is not working as there is no wp install there?

Apologies that I haven't answered questions regarding this for a while, and many thanks for all your feedback. At the moment I've stopped further development on this plugin, but a fully functional and working copy (plus instructions) can be found here:

If there is enough interest then I may develop the plugin further.

Hey thanks for the very cool plugin! It works on the category killer terms. Multiple words are problems as you already know. But for you to do this plugin and not charge for it is very cool! Rep+

 

Thanks for the help guys. I hope I've ironed out the problems mentioned and have posted further details over at the plugin page on my site. Multiple tags has been mentioned as a further development, and I will see if I can do this. If anyone has any other features they would like to see added, please let me know.

I put it up for a minute (I'll pm URL) and it looks good, but I'm not sure I want to run it without customer/editorial reviews. I'm pretty sure those work by RSS...

 

I agree that adding reviews would add more depth to the plugin, but I think that is perhaps beyond the scope of the plugin as it stands. The plugin does not use the Amazon web service for it's data, but rather the standard Amazon RSS feeds: http://www.amazon.com/gp/tagging/rss-help.html

As far as I know, reviews are not available via these feeds, but if anybody know different, please let me know.

As you can see the plugin is working great. I'm still tweaking the theme and such, but I posted the link so you can see it in action. The categories are the different tags I've used while the other pages are obviously astores that I added.

 

thank you for this plugin! is it possible to use amazon.fr instead of amazon.com? I tried to change address in azlite.php but it does not work

 

I think at the moment only the US site offers an RSS feed! Sorry.
