What's the better niche

i've been thinking about making a blog, but i dont really know which niche to pick. It's either hockey/NHL or gaming, i was thinking NHL because it's more unique. But tell me what you guys think.

 

Whatever you have the most knowledge/experience/interest in would be the "best" IMHO.

 

Your articles have to unique, so they'll want come back later and read another one of your articles. The blog theme doesnt really matter, (however it helps if you know about it) its all about your article writing skills and having some edge in writing to draw in your viewers.

 

I'd say both niches are already covered very substantially. Any other ideas ?

 

Can you focus on one part of gaming perhaps? Something that isn't covered as much on other sites... that will make you stand out more

 

I have to agree with this. It also helps to be a sport nut. Be crazy and spontaneous. In other words, be entertaining in some way. Don't be afraid to insult yourself or take punches from others.
Remember a very simple rule: nobody knows who you are.

 

I think the NHL sucks.
I think gaming sucks.

Choose the one which you'd have more to say in defense of, in regards to my above comments.
