Scammers In DP

Too bad. I had been scammed by two people here. They asked me to write a few articles for them but they did not pay me at all. When I run the articles on Copyscape, I found out that they had been published on ezines.

I've learned my lessons now. That is to take an advance payment from a buyer that does not have any iTrader yet.

As for those people, is there any action that I can take so they can learn their lessons too? Sorry, I won't disclose names so I won't appear unprofessional. :D

Normally you should give like 48hours.
After 48hours then only you report to moderator and leave the -ve I trader.

Not all the people online 24hours rite?

It's been past a week. We can see their last activities here and it seems they still go online daily. Too bad. Maybe they are out there trying to find out whom to scam again.

Guys, why on earth do you think it is the moderators' task to get involved in personal trades between forum members?

check their "last avtivity" by viewing their profile.
If they havent been online for a week, jsut wait.
If they have been active, contact once more and leave -itrader, -rep

mods wont do anything about it, so just make sure what their history on DP
    and like some people say:
if you have only this and this amount of itrader, pay advance
    otherwise pay afterwards

MODS & ADMIN never gets involved in such matter and until and unless a strong proof is provided to them of the scam.

Thanks a lot for the tip.

Ah true but anyway, I take that as a lesson. I only lost a few dollars. It may hurt but let that be a tuition fee. What I had learned will serve as a foundation to more profits in the future. :D

Unlucky, everyone that I have come into contact with have been very trust worthy. On the whole everyone here is friendly, and some people even sold me domains allowing me to pay the next week. Looks like you just got unlucky.

Sorry to hear about that. When it comes to writing articles, you really should ask for an advance and if they don't agree do not do business with them.

there are many trustworthy people here, i think we are in the majority, (notice i included myself)

you must be vigilant with whom you deal with. check them out. don't be afraid to ask for half upfront when writing articles.

too bad you got scammed. try and not let it happen again.
and don't cry to the moderators, its not their job to get involved in matters such as these.

    we police ourselves.

and i don't see a problem with naming names as long as you are correct.

I thought it was only a day. If in your case, it have been for a week.
How about sending a PM stated that if he/she dont pay within the 24hours then you will report to admin or mod.

And how about you copy back those article and publish it anywhere with his link and report to google that his sites is buying or selling text link.

Either way, report to the admin of the article sites that he submitted. Tell them that the guy steal the content from you

I think you should reveal their usernames here.

So we people get aware of them and their trick of scamming people wont work any more.
