What Is the Best Shoutbox or Chatbox for vBulletin?

    I was just wondering if anyone has opinion on what the best shoutbox or chatbox addon is for vBulletin?

    I was planning to have the shoutbox I installed on my vb forums setup on its own page. Is that easily achievable?

    Are these appropriate for a forum that has 25+ member on all the time? Sometime a lot more in peak times.

    I would suggest not having a chatbox. They kill forums. Whats the point having a discussion system on a discussion forum? There is no point.

    I plan on having it on a totally separate page - and won't run it on every page. I personally don't like the chatbox idea either, it's just that my members constantly hassle me for one.

    Vbshout is really good shoutbox u can try it out it has quite low load on the server

    I use MCG AJAX shoutbox and it comes with a lot of features and besides it's not resource intensive.

    The cyb shoutbox should run smooth on that :)
    I would recommend trying it and if it dosen't work out its easy to remove.

    There fun to type random stuff on

    I'm aslo using Cyb ShoutBox in my forum ( +800 online ) . works well and much better than other ones ( tried most of them ) .

    I recommend against using a shoutbox, but if you need one I've heard that cyb shoutbox is very good.

    I also suggest you not to install shoutbox.There is not point !Members will chat more and will forget posting.This will reduce your post and search engine results.It loads the server too much as well.In addition the chatbox makes the forum look massive and compehensive to use.Dont do this !
