I read that as one per thousand, so I should have at least 21 clicks right now...

    seems so pathetic.

That makes sense. I figured that cheap traffic was critical. It's just a matter of figuring out how to make it convert.

    I'm not there yet.

OK, I boosted my bids to 50 cents. We'll see if that wakes up big G.

I actually started my bidding off at $.15 and clicks and impressions were pouring in. Most of my clicks were about $.08 so obviously you're doing something wrong.

Also, please keep in mind guys that ANYBODY with a cell phone and the right service can signup for ringtones. This includes teenagers who are not old enough to have a credit/debit card. All they have to do is fill in their cell phone number on the signup form and respond to the text message they receive. This is why AJ chose to promote that program and this makes it easier to mass market.

it depends on niche you in..I could bring many traffics at .03 but it is crap traffic..if your 0.08 niche is converting then it is good. Cheap traffic not always good.

Are you using the content network? Or Google search and the search network? You also have to remember what AJ is doing. He's marketing in a way where he can target "anyone". The reason why you're probably having problems is because you're using a system that cannot be mass marketed.

Would you say that being successful in the ringtone game is dependent upon finding a ringtone company that will let you link directly to a specific ringtone?

I'm figuring that the regular landing pages that say 'enter your phone number and pay $9.99 per month' are not going to cut it.

I haven't been accepted by Azoogle yet but I did find a company with a direct affiliate program that will let you do this.

I'm thinking that this is key.

No... you should have a ringtone landing page. It doesn't have to be anything extraordinary (it can basically look like the other 10 million ringtone sites out there).

All you need to do is tweak your LP a little bit depending on the niche your promoting (put an image and a headline that reflects what the user is searching for)...

So if you are promoting Michael Jackson ringtones... put a picture of Michael Jackson on your LP (it could be when Mike was a black man... or Mike as a white woman :)) and then put a headline that says something to the effect of... Get Your Michael Jackson ringtones.

That is true, but it is also important for you to set a low daily spend when your testing out niches that you're very unsure about.

If you're getting paid let's say $16 per ringtone signup... and you've already spent $30 on your niche and sent 200 clicks with no conversion, chances are it's a dud niche... so move on and test another.

FOr the past 2 weeks, I have personally tested at least 2 new niches a day.

So right... the kids are the easiest market. So think in your head... what does the 16 to 24 year old crowd like to do, go, look at... When you begin to think like your target market, it becomes that much easier to hunt your prey and capture it!

Just remember to get permission from you AM to use an artists image, I believe most ringtone offers have that written down in the offer requirements.

Well, I also promote ethically. I didn't get into this niche because I wanted to target all the irresponsible 14 year olds, I got into it because its one of the big niches. Figured if I got break into ringtones, I could break into anything.

But one of the reasons its so big and successful is the reason you mentioned - you don't need a credit card, just a cell phone, and everyone has one.

I'm guessing he's running A LOT of ad groups. But then again I have my daily budget set low so I'm not too sure.

This question is for AJ. Are ALL of your landing pages for your ringtones program the same or do you have a different topic for each one?
