Forum Site was never indexed

One forum site we have was never indexed by Google except for the landing page. We did all we can but only one page is being indexed out of thousands.

I contacted our webhost if it is stopping Google spiders from indexing SMF-powered website, but no clear answer.

Do you think a host is blocking Google spiders so that our forum site won't be indexed by Google? But for what? How to solve this problem?

Install Google sitemap hack for SMF and submit the sitemap to google.

 

Yogesh, where can I download and install it? Is it safe?

 

I use this one in my forum, http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=755 works well.

 

How long have you given it to index? Sometimes it can take awhile, index page might be the only one for awhile

 

Have you got a robots.txt file?

 

I removed the robots txt file. I will wait for a week or two to see effect.
