Hey all, I just started using AdWords and Clickbank this week, I'm doing decent for my budget with $85 of sales and $70 of clicks but that could easily just be luck (currently direct linking to the clickbank pages). I plan to make some landing pages so that i can presell the products but I don't really want to do it on my current blog or money making website so I was thinking I'd try it out on Squidoo. I currently have a few Squidoo lenses that have gotten me a few affiliate sales of other types so I though it might work, but how should I go about it? Should I use Squidoo or should I make a free blog (such as a Blogger or wordpress.com) for each product? How biased should my review be, should it be pushing the product real hard or should I just generally say that it is a good product? Should I still use PPC or should I try to build backlinks for each of the separate lenses or blogs? *Note, I'm 19 so my budget is limited to around $40a day maximum for PPC or other advertising*
Build a Squidoo lens for each clickbank product you want to promote. First do a Squidoo search for other lenses promoting the same product. Take a different angle on the product from the other lenses. Make sure your lens is high quality and looks professional. Here are a couple of examples I've done for a recently released clickbank product: http://www.squidoo.com/learn-to-dance and http://www.squidoo.com/dancing-with-the-stars-season-6 Tag it with phrases that people searching for what the product provides would be likely to type into a search engine - Squidoo allow you to use 40 tags. Then build backlinks. All of this will cost you nothing - except for time!
What do you normally do to build up backlinks? I haven't had overly much success with my Squidoo lenses in the past because I'm not really sure what I should do to go about getting backlinks for it.
