Yesterday I sold one domain for $100 to guy

As per his request, First I Pushed the Domain to his Godaddy Account

Once the domain was in his Godaddy Account
i had to email two time for payment...

And in the Morning i woke up, i sow Paypal eCheck...

    Another Thing..

By Mistaken he send 2 paypal check of $100 each...

He mailed me to refund one check, otherwise.. he will esculate with paypal

He could have waited for my reply...

I Refunded and cancllled both echeck Immediately ...
and request for NON eCheck Payment
Now he is saying that it will take 8 working day...

    Please teach him.

You should have accepted eCheck or must clear this before selling/pushing the domain.
    Now you have to wait.

    You committed the mistake.
Paypal is not so safe for domain selling.
Escrow is the only safest option for such dealings.
    Anyway, keep patience and wait.
    Good luck and best regards,

Hello, this is Art - the buyer of the domain name... The seller never said they don't accept echeck...all i was told is that pay thru paypal, which I did.

Now here is the email I received from paypal and I will act accordingly.

Amrendra Mishra (amrendra_m@hotmail.com) has issued you a refund for
your payment. See Refund Details below for more information.

If your original payment was submitted to your bank, the funds can take
up to 8 days to credit back to your PayPal account. If your payment
has not been submitted to your bank, the money will not be withdrawn from
    your bank account.

Both of the transactions are currently in "uncleard" and not "cancelled" status - which means the transfer was initiated already with my bank....I offered the seller that once the funds are in cancelled status, I will immediately pay through paypal or other source but with a debit card so they will get the funds as desired.... Amrendra, you clearly made the mistake by not letting me know that you do not accept echeck thru paypal. I've bought and sold a lot of stuff online for 8+ years and have paid with echeck plenty of times...but people who do not accept echeck thru paypal are usually very clear about it.

you never mentioned once. Again, I'm here and not going anywhere but again I have to go with the email I've received from paypal. I hope the refunds will be in cancelled status by Monday so I can pay you with a bank card and get this over with...This was not needed since we've communicated all along today.

I don't need a lesson from anyone regarding this...(thank you for the thought though) I've been ripped off years ago online and will not take any more chances...

    Regards,

    Art

Also, the domain was not pushed to my go daddy account by my request since I didn't even have a go daddy account.... You emailed me and said to check my email for an email from godaddy with instructions how to transfer it to me.... I asked you to set up a real auction or relist in sedo for me to make an official bid since I was afraid to send you the money first to your paypal account....I can post all those emails here for others to see if the need be...

    Regards,

    Art S.

As commited by you.. you will immediately Transfer money on receipt of domain

Paypal eCheck is Immediate Transfer of Money?

I trusted you without seeing your profile at any Forum

Although I have shown you my profile at DP - 77+itrader, namepros and DNforum

Still i pushed the domain to you first

I would request you to check my iTrader..

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/itrader.php?u=67743

and ask other forum member .. Do they need to inform buyer that he/she will not accept eCheck (when domain is pushed)

I hate it when people pay with echeck.. and never send them anything until it clears. That being said an echeck will take about 4 days to clear ...so 8 days is reasonable to let it process then get a refund. I can understand your concern when surprised by the echeck (I worry that it won't go through) but it would have been better to let it proceed.
I've had clients ask for a rush programming job, which I've given priority over other work, and then they pay with echeck and make me wait for payment. Really p*sses me off. I'm tempted to put "no echecks" on my site. I wish they'd mention echeck when they asked for the work.

    Hello Art S.

I think, if you have domain into your account so you should pay him via Non Check Paypal.

    Thanks......

As both buyer and seller are here, deal looks geniune and can be resolved easilly.
Please do not argue with each other.

Buyer is requested to send the money first as this is the general practice.
Buyer can open an account with GoDaddy, if it is free signup, and provide the required details to seller.

Seller is requested to push the domain once payment is cleared.
You both please resolve this issue this way as you both are hinest and sincere.

    Have a nice time.
    Best regards,
    Toniya

Never send a domain unless you are 100% sure that you have secure the payment. Seriously, even after you got the payment, they can still file unauthorized charge. Escrow is definitely better, but just don't make sense for domain that is $500 or less.

Hope you can resolve the issue soon.

Perhaps the next time sellers should specify whether to accept echecks or not but you have taken a big
risk in pushing the domain first without payment. This is a no no even for reputed dp members.

Don't worry. As you have refunded the echeck payment, request buyer to issue a fresh payment. After all his eCheck payment is going to be cancleed as Paypal is showing this as refunded.

    Good luck.

Yes, and I have already paid but you refunded and created this situation we are in now and are wasting my time right now....Like I said, once my payment that I sent is cancelled you will receive the funds in the form of payment you are requesting now.... make sure you are clear next time when dealing with clients because I saw couple more domains I was going to buy from you but now will never want to work with you again....this was a bad experience and would never want to do this again, specially with you....NO THANK YOU.....As in regards to that domain - it's mine already and we've agreed to it - now I just need my $200 to clear so I can pay u w/ debit the $100 -- END OF STORY

DON’T Make this any harder – this was a simple transaction -- - be nice and people will be nice back to you….

I'm a busy guy and I'm sorry but don't have anymore time to waste on this ridiculous claim....

Thanks to all the people here for offering advise and tips

    Regards,

    Art

Also, I never asked the sller to push the domain first - she wanted me to pay first since she had a fake bid in her sedo auction made and the bid was placed by her friend...the domain was sold but not really sold since she bid on her own domain --- How can I trust someone like who will bid on their own items....So i asked her to set up a legit auction since I did not trust her -so I can place a bid or buy through a trusted website instead of sending the money to her paypal.... next thing I know she pushed it in my account. gsssssssssshhhhh....

I paid as requested by her - she decided to refund the funds and now we are in this situation because of her (8 day processing time to cancel).... WHY are YOU wasting everyones time including mine?????????????????? Please learn how to do business next time you try to make money. Be clear about it - once advice from me to you.
