Hi, I've noticed quite a few websites that still buy text links for PR purposes whose sites have increased in PR this time around. Looks like a lot of people are still finding ways around googles crackdown on paid links.
Maybe the sites submitted for reconsideration with Google and put the nofollow tag on their paid links. That's how I got my blog's PR back.
If paid link with nofollow tag google won't penalize but if it does break google terms than when they get caught they will be banned. and if they have adsense account they would never have a chance to join them again. google set their term and when they ban people they never give reason why. so it is up to anyone to take the risk.
I thought it was just if you sold links that your got penalized, and if you bought them there's a possiblity that you'll get no juice?
Google can't control all the new sites, but definitevely, the old ones will pass through monitor. My directory just been granted with PR 5 from PR 3 and the domain it's amlost three years old.
I think Google should ban people who post in text speak. In the name of all that's holy, what the hell happened to literacy?
Most of the time it is just a matter of time before Google finds out. To my suprise, I started doing 5+ paid blog posts with links on my blog daily and it jumped up a PR.
I totally agree. Rep added. Anyway, Google will never be able to stop paid links. Theres just too many going around for them to fully stop it.
Only one thing I can say on this and that simply is: Google can only "hurt" what it sees And if you do link sales privately and discret type links, you will have no problems at all. Ask my clients ^_^
I also agree. As soon as a see a site with over 5 badly spelt words or any txt spk at all then I leave. I would never write like that for any of my sites.
Link building is so difficult and it is really upsetting when Google penalizes those who actively build links.
Imagine for a moment a world where no one speeds, reds lights are always obeyed, and that guy in a truck will never cut you off. Your local police or deputy would never have to issue tickets. Your town's newspaper will have less to write about and your local TV news would show less late breaking news. What a boring town to live in, right? Policing the purchase of paid links is a necessary evil. It keeps self-righteous people busy and Google employees employed. We need to continue to purchase more links. It's good for your websites and it's definitely good for the online economy.
